A woman who made headlines in October after being photographed riding on the back of a swimming manatee in Florida has been arrested. The Tampa Bay Times reports Ana Gloria Garcia Gutierrez was arrested Saturday at the Pinellas County, Florida, Sears store at which she works, and charged with violating Florida's Manatee Sanctuary Act.

The paper reports Gutierrez was released after her arrest Saturday, following her posting 15 hundred dollars' bail. She faces a 500-dollar fine or up to 60 days in jail, the paper notes.
